On Feb. 2nd, a field study was held at the HEMS Interoperability Test Center in conjunction with the exhibition at ENEX2023, Net Zero & Energy Innovation. This field study was a part of ENEX2023's "Site Visit" program. The purpose of the visit was to observe cutting-edge R&D related to decarbonization and energy, energy management and systems in regional and urban development, and the latest facilities in buildings such as ZEB/ZEH, in order to accumulate knowledge for promoting energy conservation activities, renewable energy, and decarbonization, and to encourage participants to link their own initiatives. Two trips were conducted, with a total of 18 people from companies and organizations.
After an address by Center Director Masao Isshiki, the participants toured the facility. Special Researchers Hiroyuki Fujita and Kazuo Sekiya explained the ECHONET Lite mechanism and introduced ECHONET Lite-compatible equipment.
Participants who toured the facility with detailed explanations had many questions and actively exchanged information with each other.
