Online Lectures on Information and Robotics to students of Indian Institutes of Technology

International Exchange Program with Students of Indian Institutes of Technology

CodeTots (https://www.codetots.com/), a Japan-India international education organization, organized an international exchange program with students of Indian Institutes of Technology. From July to September, the University also participated in the event, which was organized by Professor Takeki Takamura of the Department of Applied Chemistry.

We provided online lectures on cutting-edge information and robotics fields related to artificial intelligence, robotics, IoT, AR/VR, and such. Despite the early morning start time of 7:00 a.m. ,Indian time, a maximum of about 100 Indian students attended the lecture and listened to it with great enthusiasm. A lively Q&A session followed the lecture.

It is expected that the program will be expanded to support study abroad and student exchange for Indian engineering students in the future.

1.Human Robot Interaction for Health Care and Beyond (Associate Professor Ryo Saegusa, Department of Robotics and Mechatronics)

2.Technologies in IoT System and System Example (Professor Hiroshi Tanaka, Department of Information and Computer Sciences)

3.Introduction to the study and development of educational tools using acoustics and IoT/AI (Associate Professor Mari Ueda, Department of Information Media)

4.Virtual Reality by Scent and Graphics (Professor Motohumi Hattori, Department of Information Media)

5.eXtended Reality Technology and Cost Balances (Associate Professor Masahiro Sakai, Department of Information Media)

6.Fundamental Technologies on IoT using Wireless Sensor Networks (Professor Shigeki Shiokawa, Department of Information Network and Communication)
