The signing ceremony for an educational exchange agreement with Kanagawa Prefectural Hiratsuka Secondary School was held on Jun. 24th at KAIT.

At the signing ceremony, Mr. Nomura, principal of Kanagawa Prefectural Hiratsuka Secondary School, and Kazumi Komiya, president of KAIT, signed the agreement and exchanged opinions on future initiatives.

Principal Nomura said, "Our school aims to nurture a broad range of well-rounded individuals through a consistent six-year curriculum, and we have a very rich program of school-wide events and other activities. One of the characteristics of the school is that many students study independently. We hope to use this agreement as a springboard for various exchanges, and in particular, we would like the university's help in our research projects”. He also expressed his expectations for future collaboration.

President Komiya commented, "As we celebrate our 60th anniversary next year, our goal has always been to nurture human resources who can play an active role in society, and we have recently been working on a special project for educational reform in particular. We hope to use this agreement as an opportunity to deepen our cooperation and work together to develop human resources who can play an active role in the new era.”
