Kanagawa Institute of Technology booth in the Interop Tokyo 2022 academic pavilion

Professor Mitsuru Maruyama and Professor Katsuhiro Sebayashi and students from the Department of Information Network and Communication exhibited the following broadband network experiments using ShowNet, JGN, and SINET6 at the Kanagawa Institute of Technology booth in the Interop Tokyo 2022 academic pavilion.

・8K broadband video processing technology using edge equipment at SINET6 Sagamihara Data Center

・Low latency video communication with Okinawa

・High-precision network visualization technology in ShowNet

Currently, the University is experimenting with edge devices connected to the Sagamihara Data Center on SINET6 with an ultra-broadband network of 400 Gbps.
