Received a letter of appreciation from Shizuoka Prefecture Association of Principals of Technical Senior High Schools
On Monday, Dec. 13th, 2021, Mr. Shoji Matsumura, Chairman of the Shizuoka Prefecture Association of Principals of Technical High Schools, who is also the Chairman of Shizuoka Prefectural High School of Science and Technology, presented the university with a letter of appreciation for its large contribution to the development of Shizuoka Prefecture's industrial education system and rising interest of science and technology to elementary and junior high school students through the "Science and Technology Plaza," a high school-university collaboration project organized by the university.
Contribution to The Local Community
The event, which is held every year under the themes of manufacturing and the environment, is attended by 1,500 to 2,000 local residents, and has become a popular place for elementary, junior high, and high school students and high school students to interact with each other through "science and technology”.
We will continue to work in cooperation with high schools and aim to contribute to the local community.

High School and University Collaboration Project "Science and Technology Plaza" from Eastern Shizuoka Prefecture
An event organized by the Association of Principals of Technical High Schools in Shizuoka Prefecture and Kanagawa Institute of Technology for elementary and junior high school students in the eastern region of Shizuoka Prefecture.
The event was planned in cooperation with the following partner schools, and has been held at venues in Mishima City and Numazu City for eight years since 2012.
Partner schools: Gotemba High School, Izu Sogo High School, Numazu Technical High School, and Yoshiwara Technical High School
