Review by Professor Emeritus Fujio Yamamoto Featured in New International Publication on Quantum Computing

A review by Professor Emeritus Fujio Yamamoto of our university has been featured at the beginning of the newly published book “Quantum Algorithms and Applications,” an international academic volume on quantum algorithms.

This book is a specialized publication intended for readers who have already acquired a fundamental understanding of quantum computing and wish to further explore advanced algorithms and application areas. It is primarily aimed at students and practicing engineers.

The volume provides a systematic explanation of topics ranging from fundamental techniques such as the Quantum Fourier Transform (QFT) and Quantum Phase Estimation (QPE), to more advanced theories including Shor’s factoring algorithm and the Hidden Subgroup Problem. It also covers a wide range of application areas, including Hamiltonian simulation, variational algorithms, quantum optimization, and quantum machine learning.
