Award Recipient’s Comment

“I am deeply honored to have received the prestigious Yellow Ribbon Medal in the Spring 2026 Honors in recognition of my contributions to electronic equipment assembly. I am both surprised and truly delighted to be granted such an extraordinary distinction.

Since graduating from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, in March 2004, I have devoted myself wholeheartedly to the path of technology. I believe that my journey as an engineer has been made possible entirely by the solid foundation in manufacturing and the spirit of inquiry toward technology that I cultivated at my alma mater, Kanagawa Institute of Technology.

I have always kept in mind the words of my mentor, Professor Huang, who encouraged me by saying, ‘Spend 10,000 hours on anything, and you will begin to see the path to mastery.’ Guided by these words, I have continued striving to improve myself to this day.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude once again for the dedicated guidance and excellent environment I received during my time at the university. Thank you very much.”
