Professor Takayuki Misu of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, appeared on the TV Tokyo program “Let’s Look at the World Through Money: Learn Economics on Tuesday Nights” on May 5, 2026. The theme of the program was “A Special Feature on the Importance and Price Analysis of Gold, Silver, and Copper, All Reaching Record Highs.”
In the segment on “urban mining,” Professor Misu disassembled a laptop computer and introduced the components in which gold is used. The recording was conducted last month at the university.
