Kanagawa Institute of Technology Signs Educational Exchange Agreement with Kanagawa Prefectural Seisho High School

On November 17, Kanagawa Institute of Technology (KAIT) held a signing ceremony to formalize an educational exchange agreement with Kanagawa Prefectural Seisho High School.

Details:
During the ceremony, Principal Eiichi Tanno of Seisho High School and President Tetsuri Inoue of KAIT signed the agreement and exchanged views on future collaborative initiatives.

Principal Tanno commented:

“Our school will celebrate its 70th anniversary next year. Previously designated as a Super Science High School (SSH), we have strengthened our science and mathematics education. In recent years, we have also focused on programming education under the guidance of the prefectural board of education, and last year we were designated as a DX High School by the Ministry of Education, emphasizing information technology. Many of our students successfully balance academics and club activities, with 90% participating in extracurricular clubs. Although located in the western region of Kanagawa, our school attracts students from the Odakyu line area, and many graduates enroll at KAIT each year. We look forward to exploring various forms of collaboration through this partnership.”

President Inoue stated:

“KAIT began 62 years ago as a technical college, originally focused on training engineering professionals. Over time, we have expanded into fields such as information technology, biotechnology, and most recently healthcare, adapting to societal needs. Today, we are committed to education and research that produce highly skilled professionals. We hope to work together to foster the next generation of science and technology talent.”
