Japanese Translation of “Day of AI” Educational Materials

Students from the Department of Information Engineering Contribute to Japanese Translation of “Day of AI” Educational Materials

NEWS|Student Achievements

Students from the Department of Information Engineering have contributed to the Japanese translation of AI learning materials for the “Day of AI” project, organized by MIT RAISE (Responsible AI for Social Empowerment and Education). In recognition of their efforts, Stephen Nelson from MIT Open Learning presented them with a T-shirt featuring the official “Day of AI” logo.

The “Day of AI” project is a free educational program designed to transcend borders, primarily targeting K-12 students, as well as teachers, educators, and the general public. Its mission is to provide an engaging and practical learning experience about how AI works, its societal impact, and ethical considerations.

Through this translation initiative, we hope that the “Day of AI” materials will reach students and educators across Japan, fostering curiosity about AI and inspiring them to think about their future and society through technology.
