Professor Hideo Inoue Receives JSAE “Technical Division Contribution Award”
On August 25, 2025, Professor Hideo Inoue, Director of the Advanced Automotive Research Institute at Kanagawa Institute of Technology, was honored with the Technical Division Contribution Award at the Joint Technical Meeting of the Society of Automotive Engineers of Japan (JSAE).
This prestigious award recognizes Professor Inoue’s longstanding and significant contributions to the advancement of technologies in the Active Safety Division.
Currently, Professor Inoue is leading the development of a virtual environment-based safety evaluation method, a project that is drawing considerable attention from academia, industry, and government both in Japan and abroad. The initiative addresses the global challenge of ensuring safety in autonomous driving systems.
Motivated by this recognition, Professor Inoue expressed his commitment to further advancing his research and contributing to the future of automotive safety.
