“The 20th Atsugi City Council Conference 2024 and Opinion Exchange Session with the University Students” took place at KAIT TOWN at our university on Thursday, Nov. 14th. 

First, the Atsugi City Council reported the settlement of accounts for Atsugi City and various initiatives of the Atsugi City Council.

Afterwards, KAIT students and city council members held a discussion on the theme of "The Future of Atsugi as Envisioned by the Younger Generation."

Students who reside in Atsugi City proposed their thoughts and ideas about Atsugi City from their immediate surroundings to the future of Atsugi City, one after another to the Atsugi City Council members; and each group had a lively discussion for the entire scheduled time.

At the end of the session, the students took the lead as presenters in the group presentations, which provided valuable experiences for the participating students.
