Summary of the paper
While many institutes have traditionally studied the recognition of word actions in sign language, this study extends this research to the recognition of sentence actions. The paper proposes a method for appropriately segmenting word actions contained in sentences into individual actions, and also applies existing databases of word actions and artificial intelligence techniques to recognize sign language sentence actions. This research is funded by Telecommunications Advancement Foundation.
