Agreement Concluded with Fujisawa-Seiryu Senior High School for Educational Exchange
On Oct. 28th, the signing ceremony for an educational exchange agreement with Kanagawa Prefectural Fujisawa-Seiryu Senior High School was held at KAIT.
At the signing ceremony, Mr. Kasahara, Principal of Fujisawa-Seiryu Senior High School, and Kazumi Komiya, President of the university, signed the agreement and exchanged opinions on future initiatives.
Principal Kasahara expressed his expectations for future collaboration activities, commenting, “Our school will become a new school in April 2027. We are the first high school in Japan to introduce “21st Century Leadership Education,” in which students combine their knowledge, special skills, and wisdom to solve a single problem. The new school will carry on and evolve this tradition. We hope to use this collaboration as an opportunity to leverage the broad expertise of your university. President Komiya also commented, “The University celebrated its 60th anniversary last year, and this year we have reorganized the undergraduate departments and made a fresh start. I hope that this collaboration will be an opportunity to utilize the educational resources of the University and work together with them when issues and problems need to be solved in the course of inquiry learning. I hope that we will be able to collaborate to solve problems and
challenges as we move forward with inquiry learning.
