On Jul. 3rd, the signing ceremony for an educational exchange agreement with Kanagawa Prefectural Tsurumine Senior High School was held at KAIT. At the signing ceremony, 髙橋 正広, Principal of Kanagawa Prefectural Tsurumine Senior High School, and Kazumi Komiya, President of KAIT, signed the agreement and exchanged opinions on future initiatives.

Principal Takahashi expressed his expectations for future collaborative activities as follows. “Our school has been designated as a Global Education Research Promotion School, and I think that from now on we need to have the ability to communicate about Japanese culture and science in English. We also value traditional Japanese culture. One such event is the folk dance performed by all students in yukata at the Sports Festival, a tradition that has continued uninterrupted for 50 years since the school's opening. We hope that this collaboration will allow us to utilize your school's informatics capabilities to broaden our students' career paths."

President Komiya also commented, "The University celebrated its 60th anniversary last year, and this year we have reorganized the undergraduate departments and made a fresh start. Like your school, which is committed to global education, our university is also focusing on global human resource development, etc. We hope to use this collaboration as an opportunity to move forward with a concrete program of new, globally relevant collaborations." He added.
