Professor Kazuyoshi Yoshino of the Department of Information Systems, now the Department of Robotics and Mechatronics, received the Best Presentation Award for his presentation titled “Teaching-Assistant Robot Tutoring Students in the Classroom” at the 15th International Conference on Education Technology and Computers, ICETC 2023, which took place in Barcelona, Spain from Sep. 26th to 28th, 2023.

“We have been conducting research on teaching assistant robots that support the teacher leading the class and help learners in manufacturing-related classes such as experiments and practical training in schools and other learning settings. We are very honored that our work has been recognized internationally. We will continue our research and make the robot into one that can actually be used in classes at our university.”
