On behalf of Chulalongkorn University, I would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to you on the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the founding of Kanagawa Institute of Technology. In 2012th, our universities launched an official partnership through the signing of a KAIT academic cooperation agreement and a student exchange agreement. Since then, the number of academic cooperations, joint research collaborations, and exchanges of students and staff, has continued to grow. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, which prompted widespread shutdowns of all overseas collaboration, we remained enthusiastic in prompting academic activities as seen, for example, in our organizing an online conference on information technology in November 2020. This steadfast effort reflects on our enduring connection and mutual support. On the anniversary of the sixth decade of your founding, I would like to seize the moment to commend the generous support from KAIT in offering accommodation and extending a warm welcome to Chula’s exchange students in each and every cohort. In my capacity as President of Chulalongkorn University, I would like to assure you of our strong support for the continuation of our collaborations in the time ahead. Once again, happy anniversary, Kanagawa Institute of Technology, and I wish for the success of your future project to be implemented to celebrate the 100th anniversary of KAIT founding. Thank you.

チュラロンコン大学を代表し、神奈川工科大学の創立60周年を心よりお祝い申し上げます。2012年、本学はKAITとの学術交流協定および学生交流協定を締結し、公式なパートナーシップを開始いたしました。それ以降、学術交流、共同研究、留学生および職員交流の数は増え続けています。COVID-19の大流行により、すべての海外との交流活動は停止せざるを得なかった時期でも、私たちは、例えば2020年11月に情報技術に関するオンライン会議を開催するなどして、学術活動を熱心に推進してまいりました。このような堅実な努力は、私たちが将来に渡ってつながり、相互に助け合う関係を導いていくことでしょう。貴校の創立60周年という記念すべき年にあたり、KAITがチュラロンコン大学からの留学生を受け入れてくださった際に宿泊施設についての支援を始めとして、全員を温かく迎えてくださったことを、この場をお借りして感謝いたします。チュラロンコン大学の学長として、今後も両校の協力関係が継続されるよう、強く支援していくことをお約束いたします。あらためまして、神奈川工科大学の皆様、創立記念おめでとうございます。貴学が将来実施するプロジェクトが成功をおさめ、KAITが創立100周年を迎えられるよう心から望んでおります。ありがとうございました。
