Signed MOU with Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Vietnam

On Friday, September 17, we had a signing ceremony for an academic and educational exchange agreement with Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Vietnam. The signing ceremony was held online and remotely between Japan and Vietnam.

The agreement between the two universities was signed by Vice President Nguyen Zuy Quang, Acting President of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy and President Komiya.

The signing ceremony was attended by five members of our university, including President Komiya, Dean Niimi of the School of Nursing, Professor Kaneko of the School of Nursing, Director Takano of the International Center, and Director Suzuki of the International Division, and 11 members of Thai Binh University of Medicine and Pharmacy, including Vice President Nguyen Duy Cuong, Vice President Nguyen Xuan Bai, and Associate Professor Nguyen Quoc Tien.

The President's address and the introduction of each university were conducted with simultaneous interpretation in Japanese and Vietnamese.

Based on this agreement, the two countries will conduct joint research on "geriatric nursing" and "home health care nursing" in Vietnam and Japan, where the population is aging, as well as educational collaborations such as the formulation of class curriculums.
