Event Report

On December 28, 2025, the “Sein” 1st collection presentation event, organized by architect Hirofumi Nakagawa, was held at KAIT Plaza. The event served as a platform for interdisciplinary expression, integrating architecture, fashion, and music.
Set within the architectural space designed by Junya Ishigami, the event brought together a live violin performance by Mayuko Ishigami, music composed by Sakura Tsuruta, and garments designed by Nakagawa. These elements overlapped to create a unique, one-night-only atmosphere that transformed KAIT Plaza into an extraordinary space distinct from its usual appearance.
On the day of the event, numerous professionals—including show directors, designers, and engineers—collaborated to realize a multidimensional production and exhibition. Centered around KAIT Plaza, multiple facilities across the campus, such as the stadium, arena, KAIT Workshop, and Itokukai Hall, were utilized. Approximately 300 people, including visitors and staff, participated in the event.
This event was made possible through activities in architectural informatics led by Associate Professor Kitamoto of the Department of Information Media, Faculty of Information. Students from the laboratory (xR Spatial Design / Architectural Informatics Laboratory) were also involved in operations and guidance direction. Working alongside leading professionals to create the event provided students with a valuable opportunity for experiential learning.
