Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research

Hideo Inoue,  Specially Appointed Professor, and Betsumiya Researcher, both from Advanced Vehicle Research Institute, were invited to the reception held by Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research, at The Residence of The ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

On Tuesday, October 3rd, Specially Appointed Professor, Hideo Inoue and Researcher Betsumiya, both from Advanced Vehicle Research Institute of KAIT, were invited to the reception held by Netherlands Organisation for Applied Scientific Research (TNO), in accordance with the visit of their CEO, Dr. Tjin-A-Tsoi, at Residence of The ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, in order to enhance the friendship among the international engineers.

TNO is a national organization and works on the multi projects from international cooperative researches to the global business covering vehicle / mobility technology, environment and energy, and medicine and medical cares.   

DIVP, Driving Intelligence Validation Platform, a virtual simulation unit to evaluate the safety of auto-driving system being developed through Japanese industry-academia-government collaboration, on whose development Specially Appointed Professor Inoue works, summoned the attention from TNO; he has successfully connected the scenario generation tool made by TNO with the DIVP virtual world simulator of KAIT, resulting to invite him for this reception.  In total, around 80 people were invited, including Japanese researchers as much as 80% of the whole participants.

“I was so honored to have been invited as part of these 60 Japanese researchers. The friendly conversation with CEO Dr. Tjark Tjin-A-Tsoi as well as meeting with the researchers from different field was so fruitful. The reception surely put us forward for our future work.
