Ranked No. 8 in Japan, No. 1 among All Private Universities

KAIT was Ranked No. 8 in Japan, No. 1 among all private universities, in the "Ranking of Universities from where recruiters want to increase employment" issued on Jun. 7th, 2023 in a survey on the image of universities as seen by corporate human resource managers by Nikkei Inc. and Nikkei HR.

KAIT was ranked 65th in Japan, 22nd among private universities, and 3rd among universities in Kanagawa Prefecture in the " Employability Ranking, overall ranking" of the same survey as well. In addition, the university was highly rated as 5th in Japan, 1st among universities in Kanagawa Prefecture, for "universities that are enthusiastic about providing employment support.”

This survey was conducted from Tuesday, Feb. 14th to Wednesday, Mar. 22nd, 2023, among all listed companies including emerging markets, excluding foreign companies, and 5,070 leading unlisted companies with 738 valid responses.

The 12 student image items are categorized into ① through ④ as a ranking by aspect.

  • Ability to take action: Three items: "Enthusiasm," "Initiative," and "Spirit of Challenge“.
  • Interpersonal skills: Three items: "good communication skills," "high stress tolerance," and "flexibility and adaptability."
  • Intellectual and academic ability: The three criteria are " Ability to think logically," "Highly educated," and "Excellent comprehension, intelligent.”
  • Creativity: “Creativity", "Individuality*", and " Sensible point of view".
    ※KAIT is ranked 5th in the nation for *" Individuality".

KAIT graduates and alumni are rated highly in "interpersonal skills" and " creativity" out of the four aspects in the 12 items of the student image.
