At the 3rd Research and Study Conference held on Mar 6th, 2023 at Kanagawa Technical Senior High School, hosted by the FY2023 Industrial Division of Kanagawa Prefecture High School Subject Study Group, Prof. Katsumi Nakatsuhara of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, delivered a lecture titled " Future Human Resources Education Utilizing the Laboratory".

Specific content included examples of laboratory education at Kanagawa Institute of Technology from the perspective of independent, interactive, and “deep” learning, termed as active learning, not only in the School of Engineering but also in other faculties, as well as examples of inter-student and regional cooperation.

He also introduced the high school-university collaboration project, referring to the annual activities in the laboratory and the relationships with people at the university and in the laboratory that spread out from there.

After the lecture, the participating high school teachers asked a number of questions and expressed their expectations for Kanagawa Institute of Technology and laboratory education at Kanagawa Institute of Technology.
