    • Exploratory Research on Biomimetic Materials/Systems for Achieving SDGs
    [Research Themes]
    • We are developing a learning machine that can determine a person's psychological state from a human facial expression or gesture expressed within one second.
    • We are working on developing water and electricity supply systems that can be maintained by each household or small local government unit even if the region is divided by a disaster.
    • We are developing a device that allows callers to communicate in an audiovisual experience as if they were in a different environment than they actually are. The predecessor of this device is an electronic tokonoma(alcova elettrica).
    • We are working on using microcomputers to automate various manual tasks.
    • We recognize that in order to maintain a symbiotic relationship between human society and other living systems, it is important to better understand an aspect of life as a "proliferable resource" and to use it in a cyclical and planned manner. We will continue our exploratory research on how to supply necessary resources from life and how to realize control of the amount of resources by proliferation of organisms themselves.
